About Us

St Thomas' was established in the early 1840s, and 175 years later is still sharing God's love from the heart of the city of Lancaster! We're a large church with a range of ages and stages sharing faith through the week, so we have lots of age-groups, small groups, and community programmes for you to worship, serve, and grow in.

We're also an evangelical, charismatic church that believes the Bible is God's inspired word, and that the Holy Spirit has given God's Church an amazing range of gifts to practice. We love following the example of Jesus and learning more about His example to us each and every day.
