Church of England Diocese of Blackburn St. Barnabus Morecambe

St Barnabas the Apostle

The Parish Church of St Barnabas is located in the heart of the West End of Morecambe, serving a population of around 8800. The first church called the "tin church" was built in 1890 and served the local fishing community of Morecambe Bay, but owing to tourism it had to enlarge, so the current church was built in 1898.

Our mission is to worship God, to live faithfully and to serve the community.
