St John Baptist, Broughton

Welcome to St John Baptist church Broughton. Our services are 8.00am BCP Eucharist; 11.00am Eucharist and 6.30pm Evensong. We are an inclusive welcoming church which places worship and service at our heart. We benefit from an excellent choir and good links with our uniformed organisations. Everyone is welcome to come and join us. Please see our calendar and page or notices and news for events coming up in the parish. Although no longer mandatory we are encouraging people to still wear face masks in church and using the hand sanitiser available. Thank you.

The parish of Broughton: St John The Baptist is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Blackburn’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
