At Freckleton C of E Primary School, we had our last confirmation preparation session today, looking at the Eucharist.We looked at how it's structured a bit like a party to help us to understand what happens in it. Every good party needs celebration cake!
It was lovely to see all of the staff and children from Freckleton C of E Primary School back from their Easter holidays at our school Easter Eucharist this morning. We used resurrection eggs to reflect on the events of the Easter story and work out what might be in each egg.
Our youngsters tried out for Freckleton Bowling Club at this morning's Worship4U service as we rolled eggs to win prizes. 🤣We thought about the symbolism of Easter eggs and why they're rolled, and then about Thomas' reaction to seeing the risen Jesus.And we announced the Rose Queen retinue.
