The sun shone as the village gathered this morning to remember those who lost their lives in the Freckleton air disaster.
It was a moving and poignant service as we came together to remember each person by name and honour their memory.
Our remembrance tree was decorated with doves, bearing the names of those who died, creating a beautiful and meaningful tribute to each individual.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who came to remember, and to all those who helped in so many ways, cleaning the memorial stone, preparing the grounds, sorting the sound system, putting flowers in the vases, bringing flowers to lay, and helping with all the many details behind the scenes.
Your care, love and kindness mean so much.
