Tonight's confirmation class was all about prayer. We looked at different ways of praying and made our own prayer beads.They also received a lovely invitation to our youth group BBQ!
At worship 4 u today we heard about the mistakes Peter made but how Jesus could still use him to serve.We thought about the mistakes we might have made in life and looked at some things that were made by mistake - crisps, choc chip cookies and silly putty.
Tonight's confirmation class was looking at the bible. <br>The young people had to decide which of a range of texts were from the bible or not. Rev. Tracy made it very challenging with some obscure passages, like the 42 boys who were attacked by bears! <br>They sorted some picture cards to think about genres of the books, and then we looked at how the bible has poetry, law, prophets, letters, etc.<br>They made bookmarks, and we used a range of translations of the bible to learn how to look up bible references.
