At our school Eucharist on 13 July, we heard about Abraham and Isaac. We thought about how it taught us about trusting in God. One of the children chose a teacher they trusted to give them the directions to find the hidden sweets rather than make the directions secret and keep the sweets for themselves. Luckily they chose well! Worship Group received their certificates during this final service of the year. You have all done an amazing job, thank you for all your hard work in supporting the school’s Christian ethos.
Thank you to everyone who came to the parish barbecue and those who helped with cooking and bringing the delicious food. It was a lovely event for both churches to socialise together and the weather was kind to us too!
It was so lovely to see our pupils from Freckleton C of E Primary School in their Sunday best at our July Worship4U service. Year 6, your prayers were beautiful and gave us all a real sense of hope for the future. Mille and Elsie, those biscuits looked amazing!
A massive congratulations to Tony and Jo-ellen, married at Holy Trinity on 1 July with their four beautiful daughters as bridesmaids. Don't they both look fabulous. Wishing them every blessing in their married life together.Did you know that you don't have to be a member of the church to get married here? We can conduct your wedding if you live in the parish or you or your parents have done in the past for at least six months, if you were baptised or confirmed here, or if your parents or grandparents were married here. If none of those apply and you live outside the parish, you can create a legal connection by attending monthly for six months.
