Lovely to see so many people at Freckleton Horticultural Show on Saturday. Very poignant to see a new trophy awarded for the junior exhibitors in memory of Val Ingham. Extra special was the fact that our own Freddie Stockton was the first recipient of it.
The Picnic in the Park is still going ahead tomorrow at 12.15, but because of the wet weather forecast, it's probably going to take place at the Freckleton Methodist Church instead. We're still looking forward to live singing by Heather Wardle. We'll then move on to Freckleton Sports and Social Club at 3, for entertainment by Freckleton Band, and we'll also host our bottle tombola. Please join us at both venues and help us to Get Dan Home.
Thank you to everyone who supported our Education Sunday service this morning, especially staff and children from school who led different parts of our worship.Well done to the Sunday Club Children and regular Sunday morning attenders, who were given book prizes for attendance.
