Great to hold our Freckleton C of E Primary School school Eucharist on Thursday and our celebration worship. Wishing everyone a restful half term.
On Tuesday, Year 4 enjoyed a visit to Holy Trinity Church Freckleton to look at the special features inside a church. Reverend Tracy and Reverend Christine gave the children a tour of the church, pointing out all of the key features and answering the children's questions. Thank you so much for a wonderful morning and well done to Year 4.
At our Worship 4 U service this morning, we looked at Paul's letter to the Colossians and how Jesus is the image of the invisible God.We thought about how we are made in God's image and just as Jesus reflects what God is like, we can reflect what Jesus is like to others. We did an activity to remind us that even when we sometimes make wrong choices and our lives might be a bit messy, the cross still shines through the mess and we can see our reflection in it.Finally we decorated badges that reminded us that our identity is in Christ alone and we reflect his image.Thank you to Freckleton C of E Primary School for leading our prayers. There were some brilliant ones on a really tricky passage. Well done!
