Emmanuel Creative: A group of folk from Emmanuel Church who have felt moved to set up a small business have rented a shop at Fleetwood Market which is designated for local artists. They are using their God-given gifts to create high quality products including jewellery, painted artwork, homemade gifts, denim bags made from recycled materials, note books, journals and much more. The shop is open from Tuesday 29th April until Saturday 31st May, Tuesdays Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays each week. Please pop in, if you can, to encourage and support this new initiative.

APCM: The annual general meeting is taking place in church next Tuesday, 13th May at 7 pm. Please do make every effort to come along to celebrate all that we’ve achieved in the last twelve months and to hear testimonies from a couple of our regular members. The annual financial accounts are now available and are at the back of church. Take a copy and be sure to ask any questions on the night.

VE Day 80: On 8 May 2025, we're marking the 80th anniversary of Victory in Europe (VE Day), when the nation will unite to remember the end of the Second World War in Europe. Around the country, events will be taking place to pay tribute to those involved in that conflict, as well as reminding us to pray and work for peace in our communities and in the world. At St Nic’s we will hold a short service of commemoration and prayer at 5.30 pm. On VE Day, churches sounded their bells to signify the end of the war. This year at 6.30 pm we will join with churches and cathedrals around the nation as they let their bells ring out – an opportunity to reflect and give thanks for the peace that so many sacrificed their lives for during the Second World War.
