A heartfelt thank you to Judith and her team for so generously hosting the café at the community craft fair yesterday. As always, our ladies did us proud with their wonderful homemaking and warm service. All proceeds from the café will go into the restoration fund.

Saturday 13th September: 🎶 This Saturday at 2.00 pm Health & Harmony Community Choir will be filling St Nic’s with all your favourite songs — the kind that lift spirits and get toes tapping.

Tickets just £5 on the door and proceeds shared between St Nic’s and the Willow Garden Project
Bring your friends and neighbours for a good afternoon, good music, good company, and good for the soul! Don’t miss it — always a joyful event!

Nancy’s funeral: Will be held in church on Monday, 22nd September. Her daughters have kindly asked that Nancy’s friends from church share a memory of her to be read during the service. If you would like to contribute, please write down your memory and post it through the Vicarage door or alternatively email the Vicar at [email protected]

Harvest Ceilidh: Join us for an evening of music, laughter, and dancing with the brilliant Still Reeling Ceilidh & Barn Dance Band. Saturday 11th October Tickets £10 (include fish & chip supper) — available now from Alan and Karen. Limited numbers, first come first served. Hosted by St Nic’s on behalf of Churches Together in Fleetwood — it’s going to be a night to remember! Harvest Messy Church: Is taking place on Saturday 4th October. We need jars to make harvest lanterns. If you have any going spare please may we have them? There’s a box at the back of church! Please take some flyers too and hand them out to families with school aged children.

Prayers: Please pray that the right candidates will apply for our Youth Pastor position and that God will grant us right discernment at the interview stage. Please also pray for, Brian Brown, Chris Kelsall, Harvey Stansfield, Sandra Foulkes, Maureen Baines, Hannah, Keith, Carol Walters and Sarah Taylor. We also remember June Larkin, Peter Tilling, Marion Cross, Nancy Burr and Denise Cockshot whose funerals are due to take place.
