Announcing our new Youth Pastor: We are delighted to announce that Ricca McGowan will be starting with us on Monday. Ricca is married to Tony and they have four children, all of primary school age and younger. A committed Christian and a qualified child psychologist, Ricca brings with her wonderful gifts and valuable experience in working with young people and families within a church setting. For the time being, Ricca and her family will continue to worship at their home church on Sunday mornings. However, you will see Ricca around during the week and at Family & Co on Sunday afternoons. Please hold Ricca and her family in your prayers as she responds to God’s call on her life among us.

Thank You for Your Faithful Giving: We are deeply grateful to everyone who supports St Nic’s through regular giving. Your generosity enables us to plan confidently and continue the ministry and mission of our church. Weekly giving envelopes for 2026 and partly completed standing order forms are available at the back of church. While envelopes remain helpful for some, standing orders greatly assist with administration and planning, especially as handling cash has become more difficult. Thank you for your ongoing generosity — it truly makes a difference.

From the Vicar: May I express my sincere thanks for the many cards and greetings that I received from so many of you over the Christmas period. It would be impossible to thank you each individually. I hope you had a peaceful and blessed Christmas and I pray that God will bless you and yours richly in the coming year. With my love and continued prayers, from Rev’d Carolyn.

Prayers: Please also pray for, Martyn Westby, Harvey Stansfield, Hannah, Carol Walters, Muriel, Helen Willott, Paul Sumner and Maureen Hardman. We also remember the lives and families of Brian Brown, Paul Gosling, Hidy Cartmel, Jack Briggs, Mary Kilburn and Peter Dixon whose funerals are due to take place.
