A huge thank you to Judith and everyone who helped make our extended Thursday Coffee and Lunch such a lovely gathering! From the friendly faces who served up the homemade soup to those who came along to relax and chat — you all made the morning feel welcoming, warm and full of community spirit. It was wonderful to see so many people staying, talking and enjoying time together. That’s exactly what these mornings are all about. We’ll be doing it all again on 19th February, when we’ll be linking up with Brian House Children’s Hospice to raise much needed funds for their ongoing work. We’d love to see you there. Bring a friend, a neighbour, or someone who could use a friendly morning out — there’s always room at the table, plenty of good company and of course, something tasty to enjoy. Looking forward to seeing you next time!

Lent Study Course – Save the dates: Wednesday 25th February, for five consecutive weeks, 4.30 pm at St David’s Church on Larkholme Lane. Parking isn’t great, so we recommend car sharing as far as possible, using St Nic’s as a meeting point.  No need to sign up, but if you need a lift please speak to the Vicar.

Bishop Philip's new ‘Knowing Jesus’ course has five sessions. The series will help us to know about Jesus as we seek to understand more about who he is, what he has come to do and how he sets us free. It will also help us to know Jesus as we explore what to means to be in a deeper relationship with him and to offer our whole lives to him. The sessions are, The Ascended Jesus, The Sending Jesus, The Suffering Jesus, The Servant Jesus and The Triumphant Jesus.

Prayers: Please pray for Dorothy Angel, Anthony, Jeff Chambers, Harvey Stansfield, Hannah, Carol Walters, Muriel, Paul Sumner, Carol Newton, Debbie and Maureen Hardman. We also remember the lives and families of Hiddy Cartmel, Jack Briggs, Martyn Westby, Mildred Ross, David Morley, Patricia Kettle and Lesley Christian whose funerals are due to take place.
