Thursday Coffee & Lunch in Support of Brian House: Thank you to everyone who supported our Thursday Coffee & Lunch fundraiser for Brian House. As always, we enjoyed warm fellowship over coffee and conversation, followed by Judith’s delicious home-made soup served from 11:45 am.
Through your generous donations and our raffle of chocolates and flowers, we were delighted to raise £328 in support of Brian House. Please continue to support this wonderful community initiative each Thursday and do consider personally inviting your neighbours, friends and family members to join us. We are grateful to have received community funding to help sustain this project and look forward to welcoming even more people in the weeks ahead.
Lent Study Course: Starts this Wednesday, for five consecutive weeks, 4.30 pm at St David’s Church on Larkholme Lane. If you have put your name down for a lift, please be at St Nicholas Church for 4.10 pm.
**Songs of Praise at St Peter’s: We are delighted to be invited to the launch of a new Songs of Praise evening at St Peter’s, led by their new organist, John. With a passion for church music and the rich choral tradition, John is eager to celebrate and strengthen the musical life of St Peter’s.
It promises to be an uplifting and joy-filled evening of much-loved hymns, inspiring music, and enthusiastic singing. Do go along and show your support as we raise the roof in praise together!
Facebook: Those of you who use Messenger, connected to The St Nicholas Church Facebook page will by now have realised that we have encountered some problems which has resulted in all users being deleted. We are not selling tickets to Ariana Grande concert!! We hope to be back up and running as normal, very soon.
