Central Church

Central Church Bristol is a welcoming, Jesus-centred church in the heart of Bristol. We’re a diverse community of people from all walks of life, learning to follow Jesus, grow together and love our city. Whether you’re new to Christianity, returning to church, or have been following Jesus for years, you’re very welcome.

We meet on Sundays for worship, Bible teaching, prayer and community, with dedicated provision for children and young people. Throughout the week there are Connect Groups, prayer gatherings, Alpha and other opportunities to build friendships, explore faith and get involved.

Our vision is simple: to encounter God, redeem life and love Bristol. We’d love you to join us.

Our Sunday morning service is where we gather to worship God, learn from His word, and be equipped by His spirit for mission. It’s informal, friendly and Jesus-centered. We have refreshments after each service, and we share Communion together once a month.

We have children's groups for ages 0-16 and occasional all age services which unpack the Bible in a way that is accessible to young and old.

Safeguarding

At Central we are committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of Bristol’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services.
