Come along to the Community Centre @ Christ Church every Tuesday between 1:30-3:30 for a piece of cake and a drink.

An optional 30 minutes of gentle exercise takes place which can be done seated or standing, or you can just enjoy the music.

This is followed by a quiz or music bingo, higher or lower game and an optional raffle.

Suitable for all the family, our beautiful Christingle Service provides a thoughtful start to the Christmas season. The Christingle orange with lighted candle represents Christ the Light of the World. The red band surrounding the orange reminds us his blood was shed for the whole world. The dried fruits are symbolic of God's goodness and provision for HIs world. The service will be led by the Revd. Canon Simon Stevenette and Jo Porter and is particularly suitable for (accompanied) children

Everyone is welcome to come along to our annual Christmas Carol Service. There will be traditional carols to join in with. The Service will be led by the Revd. Daphne Hardwick. Organist will be Burkhard Zomm from the New Apostolic Church which also worships in St Mary's every week.

Our annual service of Lessons and Carols by Candlelight, led by our Robed Choir. This year we will be featuring Carols by some new composers, including Philip Moore, Brittney Boykin and Stuart Nicholson - along with traditional carols for the congregation to sing. The choir will sing the new composition of 'The First Nowell' by Bob Chilcott as part of the initiative 'Follow the Star, Join in the Song'.

A quiet, said service of Holy Communion as we begin Christmas Day. led by the Revd. Canon Simon Stevenette. Why not come along and have a peaceful hour contemplating God's gift to us in sending His Son to earth, before the festivities rally begin!

A joyful service for all the family as we celebrate Christmas Day together. Why not get the children (and big kids!) to bring along a present they love to show us? Service led by the Revd. David Cain. We promise you will be home in time to cook a festive lunch!

Why not come along and welcome the New Year with us? The service will be led by the Revd. Robert Jordan, minister of Immanuel United Reformed Church which is part of the Old Town Partnership of Churches. Our robed choir will be singing and after the service you can (if you wish) scale the spiral staircase to the ringing room as the bells ring in 2024. ALL WELCOME
