Church of England Diocese of Canterbury Aylesham

St Peter's Church, Aylesham

             Coronavirus (Covid-19)

Dear Parishioners,

In line with government and Church of England advice we are having to suspend public worship until we are advised otherwise.

The church will now be closed following government announcement.

Prayers for the community and the nation will be said twice a day.

Sharing the inclusive love of Jesus with the community and each other.

We are serious about our discipleship and living out our faith in Jesus in a way that is relevant to our community.  We will offer everyone the opportunity to meet with God in a safe and caring environment.

St Peter's is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). The Diocese of Canterbury’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
