Charlton Church holds two services per week, and a Bible discussion group every Friday morning. On the last Sunday, there is a service for reflection and healing: The Journey. Numerous concerts take place at the church, and there are regular social events, such as lunches, Bingo, film shows (warm space) and fairs. Charlton hosts large-scale musical experiences for children, organised by The Big Reveal and Deal Music and Arts, and now an annual family-friendly concert given by Bradstow Music. Numerous local schools, including the Charlton Church of England Primary School, hold their annual services at the church. The church is generally open for visitors on Saturday mornings, and the Charlton Church Cafe is open on the first and third Thursdays from 10 till 11 (Church Hall in cold weather).
