Charlton Fine Arts presents Butterfly Paterson and Helen Crayford for a programme of music for cello and piano. Butterfly is a third year music student at Gonville and Caius College, where she is a choral scholar, and is supported by the Grabowski Fund. She was in the National Youth Orchestra from 2018-2021. She is on the Cambridge University Instrumental Award Scheme, where she regularly performs with her string quartet, with recent performances including Webern, Shostakovich, and Schumann. She studies with John Myerscough and Stefan Popov at the Royal Academy of Music, as part of the university’s CAMRAM scheme. She plays on a late 18th century William Forster cello and Sartory bow kindly on loan by The Stradivari Trust.
