St Mary of Charity

St Mary of Charity is part of The Benefice of Faversham and has a diverse, interesting and lively congregation who gather regularly not only to worship but also to support and care for each other and our beautiful church - the largest parish church in Kent.

We are a welcoming and inclusive large Church family. Our children's work takes place every Sunday in the South Transept which allows our families to take part in the main service with their children.

We have many links with our wonderful St Mary of Charity Church of England School.  In addition, schools across Faversham share many special times with us, as do the community in general.

During the pandemic things are different but we remain the same lively and supportive church family in the community and are here for you, please get in touch.

St Mary of Charity is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults.  We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs.  The Diocese of Canterbury’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs.  If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA.  If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.</span>
