The Holy Saturday Service of Light is a Eucharist service beginning the Easter vigil. The Easter candle is lit and brought into the darkened church marking the transition from darkness to light and symbolising Christ as the light of the world.

St Catherine

St. Catherine's Church, Preston-next-Faversham, part of the Benefice of Faversham, is situated just south of the railway line and station in Faversham. We are a friendly and inclusive congregation who enjoy a traditional 'High Anglican' style of worship. We have a strong musical tradition with a four part choir and a lively and active Sunday School that meets during the 10.00 service on Sunday mornings.
