We are a numerically large, broad and inclusive church, located in Finchampstead, Berkshire. We aim to provide a variety of services in order to appeal to as wider range of people as possible, and hope to offer a warm welcome to everybody wherever they are on their spiritual journey.
Most of our services use modern language, with robed clergy, choir and organ, but each Sunday there is at least one service which uses the traditional language of the Book of Common Prayer (BCP) including a solidly supported sung Matins twice a month and Evensong once a month.
We aim to offer a warm welcome to families, with special family services twice monthly, and a twice monthly Sunday Club for children aged 0 and above. For parents who wish to keep their children in the service we provide "Happy Bags" for the children. Secondary age children meet together during term time in our popular Youth Group, and also meet together for their own worship from time to time.
We also have an active toddler group, and also offer a weekly bible study specifically aimed at mothers and young children.
We are blessed with a large and well regarded choir who sing at our main morning service every week, and some additional services during the month. Alongside this there are a number of additional special services during the year, and the choir are occasionally invited to sing elsewhere, this year including singing Evensong at St Alban's Abbey, and a civic service for nearby Bracknell.
