About Us

St Mary's in Singleton is one of 2 churches which meet in the Parish of Great Chart with Singleton, the other being St Mary's Great Chart

We meet in Singleton Village hall, Hoxton Close every Sunday morning at 10:30am. The service is informal in style and our worship is led by a band. We all join together for the first part of our service before the young people depart for their groups. We have 3 groups those who are aged 3-7, those who are aged 7-11 and those who are at secondary school.

We have young people's groups every Sunday except the 1st in the month when we have a shorter time of All age worship together as a church.

St Mary's has been in existence for 20years, originally started as a response from those at Great Chart to the growing numbers of houses and people in Singleton. Originally it met in Great Chart School (which is actually in Singleton) but when the Hall was built in 1996 we moved to meet here.

We are led by our Ministry leadership team which is made up of members of the congregation including our vicar, Rev Tim Wilson.

We have several groups that meet throughout the week to chat, read the bible together and pray, for more information visit our website www.stmarysgreatchart.org
