Daily Scripture:

“Alleluia. O praise God in his holiness; praise him in the firmament of his power.

Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Alleluia." (Psalm 150:1&6)

Daily Reflection:

The Psalmist wants to praise God simply for who he is; for his holiness; for his power; for the things he does; for his greatness. Not only does the Psalmist want to praise God, he wants the whole of creation – everything with breath – to praise the Lord. In all the busyness of our lives today, will we remember to take even just a little bit of time out of our day to praise God? Despite being so busy living life, it is when we acknowledge and praise God that we really find true life.

God of life and love, whose Son was victorious over sin and death, make us alive with his life, that the whole world may resound with your praise; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
