REMEMBRANCE SUNDAY: 8th November:

Following the Government's announcement about the England lockdown starting Thursday 5th November and the latest guidelines from the Government and the Church of England:

There will not, I'm afraid, be a church service on Sunday 8th November at St. Nicholas

But

There will be a short Act of Remembrance at the war memorial starting at 10:50am, led by Revd David that you are welcome to attend

The Act of Remembrance can go ahead outdoors, but we must:

- Only gather in our social bubbles (maximum of 6) and maintain 2m social distancing at all times

- Wear face coverings, except when leading at the front (Reducing the risk of transmission.)

- Wreath layers to remain 2m apart, and will lay wreaths one at a time

- We have to take reasonable steps to keep a Track & Trace record of those who attend or spectate.

Your cooperation is needed for all of this please.

Track & Trace can be done by using the NHS QR Code and App (if you have a smart phone), or by giving your name and a contact number to the person with the Register.

One piece of good news is that we are able to sing the National Anthem and another hymn. We will produce an A5 sheet with the words; these will be given out by stewards. The sheet will also have a reminder of the Covid restrictions and the QR code.

Please pass this information on to others you think will be interested.

Keep well. Keep safe.

Revd David
