St Mary's Church is open daily for private prayer
This Holy Week and Easter Trail beginning on Palm Sunday, 29th March through 5th April, will depict this intense week of Jesus' life from his triumphal entry into Jerusalem on Palm Sunday to Easter.
The Church will be open daily 9am to 5pm.
Palm Sunday falls this year on 29th March. As it is a 'fifth Sunday' in the month, we will be holding a Benefice Holy Communion Service at St. Matthew's, Warehorne @ 10.30am.
Palm Sunday marks the beginning of Holy Week and particularly commemorates when Jesus entered Jerusalem on a donkey, to be greeted by joyous crowds waving palm leaves. We will remember our Lord's Passion with a solemn liturgy for Good Friday
There will be an Easter Vigil in St. Martin's, Aldington held in the darkness of Holy Saturday night, is the primary celebration of the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Following the tradition of the Taizé Community we gather in church for meditative prayer through a mixture of simple chants, silence and intercessory prayer. All welcome.
