Saxon Shoreline Benefice

Welcome to the Saxon Shoreline Benefice, a family of eight Church of England churches in the villages along the old Saxon shoreline at the northern edge of Romney Marsh in south Kent:

  • St Martin’s, Aldington
  • St Peter & St Paul, Bilsington
  • St Rumwold’s, Bonnington
  • the Church of the Good Shepherd, Hamstreet (shared with the Methodist Church)
  • St Mary’s, Kenardington
  • St Mary’s, Orlestone
  • St Mary Magdalene, Ruckinge
  • St Matthew’s, Warehorne

Our Rector is the Revd Geoff Abasolo-Munnery.

Each church has its own pattern of services, and on fifth Sundays we come together for a single benefice service. Every service and event across the benefice is in our calendar, and each month’s newsletter is available in our churches and on the Benefice Newsletter page. Everyone is welcome.
