Getting here

St Margaret of Antioch is a much loved and well used 11th century village Church full of history, situated on the banks of the river Medway. There is a lead font which has been in use for over 800 years, and still in regular use today. Some wall paintings and other item of historical significance remain. A history of the village and church are available in the church.  

The normal pattern of services across the month is as follows:

1st Sunday:    8.00am Book of Common Prayer Holy Communion (spoken)

2nd Sunday: 10.00am Morning Worship

3rd Sunday:  10.00am Communion
                        4.00pm Evensong

4th Sunday: 10.00am 'Family Time', an informal service suitable for all ages.

The church is well used by the local community, with full details for all activities and events found in the Services and events section. St Margaret's is part of 'The Six' benefice of parishes between Rainham and Sittingbourne.
