St. Michael's Sittingbourne

St. Michael's is a Church of England church within the Diocese of Canterbury, in the Parish of St,. Mary's and St. Michael's Sittingbourne. We are also part of the Sittingbourne and Bobbing Team Ministry.

Our main services of the week offer Holy Communion 10 am on Sundays and 10.30  Wednesdays. On Thursdays we have Evening Prayer (with incense) at 5.30 pm followed by our new Ignite service at 7.00 pm. 

We also have a monthly service of  Traditional Choral Evensong (BCP) on the second Sunday of the month.

Please do take a look at our page for opportunities to drop in and visit the 'oldest building in Sittingbourne' with our Place of Welcome on Wednesdays (11 am to 1 pm) and Recitals on Saturdays (11 am).

We also extend a warm welcome and pastoral support on Friday's in Church House with our Ignite Breakfast Club (10 am to 12 noon).

We meet in Church House on Mondays for Bible Study and to consider books by Christian Authors. It is informal and relaxed with refreshments. Facilitated by one of our Authorized Lay Ministers (ALM) we explore together.

Our new Bishop of Dover, The Rt Revd Rose Hudson-Wilkin dropped in to find out what is happening in Sittingbourne on Friday 14th February and stayed with us for over three hours.
