About Us

St Mary-the-Virgin is one of the six Church of England parishes, which together make up 'The Six' benefice in North Kent situated between Rainham & Sittingbourne. The ancient church building is located in the centre of the village. <span style="font-size: 1rem;">We have other events that take place across the month, including 'Rainbow Cafe', which meets monthly on the 2nd Thursday of every month from between 2.00 to 5.00pm, a monthly 'Cuppa and Chat' on 3rd </span>Wednesday<span style="font-size: 1rem;"> from 10.00am to 12noon. In the Church: Services at 10.00am

1st & 4th Sundays: Holy Communion (Sung) - Traditional worship with organ/choir.

2nd Sunday: Morning Worship

In the Village Hall: Uplift Services at 10.30am

Normally 1st & 3rd Sundays: Uplift offers informal contemporary worship suitable for families with children, with groups for children.
