There will be races for all ages and a tug of war. Renwick Charity Coffee Mornings These are held in the Reading Room every Wednesday from 10am. All welcome. This year we are supporting Eden Young Carers. Renwick Open Gardens Day On Sunday, 23rd June, Gardens in and around Renwick will be open from 11am to 4pm for visitors to come in and have a good look around. You will be made very welcome at participating gardens in Scales, Scalehouses, Renwick and Park Head, with refreshments available at Greystone House in Renwick. There will also be a bookstall selling books with a plant or garden theme. Entry fee for the day – to include a map showing garden locations – is £5 per person, payable at the start in Renwick. All donations will go towards the project to make All Saints’ Church watertight and more suitable for community use.
Saturday June 8th.Meet at 11am at Eden Bridge car park (Lazonby recycling centre). An easy round walk across fields and around Lazonby. Wear strong footwear! Take food and waterproofs.Give it a try – the walks have proved popular. Not too taxing and steady pace. Children accompanied by an adult and dogs on leads welcome. On average between 3-4 miles.Saturday July 13th.Meet 11am at Dalemain car park and walking to Stainton and back. A good round walk on footpaths with lovely views.
