St. Mary's Crosthwaite - Welcome - This beautiful church is home to an inclusive community which has worshiped and worked together here at this site for over 900 years. The church as it is now was rebuilt in 1885. St. Mary's is the Parish Church for the Parish of Crosthwaite in the beautiful Lyth Valley. We normally meet on Sundays at 11.00am on the 1st, 2nd and 4th Sunday each month to worship, with our alternate services taking place at Mission Community partner Holy Trinity, Winster on the 3rd Sunday each month at 11am. We look forward to welcoming you. We are part of an evolving Team of 7 parishes and on a 5th Sunday in the month we hold one United Service which rotates around the Benefice. Please check on our church website beforehand to confirm where services will be held. The church is open daily throughout the year for visitors and individual prayer.
