About Us

Holy Trinity is situated at the centre of the village of Holme, Cumbria. We are part of a Joint Benefice with St James’ church in the neighbouring village of Burton-in-Kendal. The two congregations are closely linked, sharing the same minister and regularly meeting together.

We aim to faithfully worship the risen Lord Jesus who has forgiven and rescued us. We long to serve the people of our village by our practical love and our clear proclamation of the Good News of Jesus Christ. You will be warmly welcomed to any of our services! We are pleased to stand firmly on the Reformed foundation of the Church of England with its commitment to the truth of the Bible.

Our Morning Worship service is held at 9 am each Sunday and usually includes Holy Communion on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of each month. Children are welcome: there are usually activities available during the sermon and the service can be seen and heard from our large foyer which is used by parents who want to take restless children out for a while. Refreshments are served after the service. On 5th Sundays we usually meet at 10 am for a joint service with St James’, Burton-in-Kendal, alternating the venue between the villages.
