Welcome to St Mary's Staveley-in-Cartmel!

We are a friendly church meeting in a stunningly beautiful building at the foot of Lake Windermere in the English Lake District. We're a short walk from Fellfoot, the National Trust property which is right on the lake.

We gather most Sundays at 11.00; on fifth Sundays we have a united gathering with Haverthwaite and Finsthwaite (see the noticeboards).

St Mary's Staveley-in-Cartmel is a wonderful building for a wedding, nestled amongst the trees, away from the noise of busy Lake District traffic.

Remembrance Service

This week our usual Holy Communion services are replaced with Services of Remembrance. Please do come and join us as we remember all those who have given their lives for our continued freedom. (Please not that service times are also different, to allow us to hold our Act of Remembrance as close to 11am as possible.)
