Public toilets are available at the car park in Eskdale Green.

Some limited parking is available in the village of Eskdale Green


Our Building

The church building was gifted to the community as a Chapel of Ease and School in the nineteenth century. Since then the school has moved to more modern premises and the ground floor is now used as a village hall. St Bega's worship area is warm and light. It has leaded, clear windows which look out onto the fells. it is an adaptable space, with a raised chancel area and good acoustics. As well as being used for Sunday Worship the local Church School walk to Church to hold their end of term celebrations with families and friends.


Music and Worship

The single bell is rung at the beginning of worship.


Groups, Courses and Activities

St Bega's Church of England Primary School holds an after school club with a Christian focus once a week, usually on a Wednesday.


Help for Visitors

The Church is always open for visitors.


Other Features

Conservation Area

The simple village hall is situated on the ground floor of St Bega's Church building. The hall has a raised stage area, simple kitchen and toilets. Disabled access is available. Bookings can be arranged, ask at the Village Stores.
