St James Gerrards Cross and Fulmer

We are passionate about Saint James being a church where everyone is welcome and where anyone can come and get to know Jesus Christ for themselves. We would love to welcome you sometime and we really hope that you might find here a place to belong.

As Covid restrictions change we are following the latest government recommendations.

We will continue to retain a significant area, within each of our church service gatherings, where those who prefer to maintain social distancing can sit comfortably. It will be necessary to wear a face covering to sit in this area. One of our hosting team will be happy to show you to a seat, just let them know. There is no requirement to wear a face covering to attend our services. However, as you move around the building, it would be a kindness to those who prefer to maintain social distancing to wear a face covering.

We will continue to ensure that our buildings are well ventilated and hand sanitiser is available at all of our buildings. Our hosting teams are ready to help with any queries or additional assistance you may require.

The 11am Sunday Gathering Service continues to be livestreamed via YouTube and we are continuing to meet throughout the week in smaller groups in person or via Zoom for a ‘Coffee and Catch up’, to pray and to explore the Christian faith.

The parish of Gerrard's Cross & Fulmer is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Oxford’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services."

This Christmas, we’re putting a marquee on West Common, and we’d love you to be there! It’s an opportunity to celebrate Christmas with traditional readings, your favourite carols, and a glass of mulled wine. It’ll be warm(ish), dry and COVID-safe.
