Welcome to St Luke’s

We are a friendly and welcoming Anglican church family at the heart of Highwoods, Colchester, with Jesus at the centre of everything we do. Whether you are exploring faith for the first time, returning to church after many years, or looking for a place to belong, you will find a warm welcome among us.

Together, we seek to be rooted in the Father's love, growing in our relationship with God through worship, prayer, and fellowship. We believe that God's love transforms lives, and we want everyone to know the comfort, hope, and purpose that can be found in him.

As we grow in the power of the Holy Spirit, we encourage one another to deepen our faith, discover our gifts, and follow Jesus in our everyday lives. We are a church where people of all ages can learn, serve, and grow together as part of one family.

We are also passionate about our local community. We want to be a church that serves our neighbours with kindness, generosity, and compassion, sharing the transforming love of Jesus in practical and meaningful ways. Our desire is to see people encounter God's love, build lasting friendships, and discover the joy of following Christ.

Wherever you're from, there's a place for you here. We'd love you to join us for our morning service as we come together to worship, learn, and encourage one another.
