At St Peter's our services begin at 10:30am where all are welcome. We aim each service to be family friendly but on the third Sunday of the month we have a communion service. In all our services we aim to worship God and learn from the Bible. To know how God wants to impact our lives, community and the world through knowing the person of Jesus Christ.
We have a mix of styles during the service with hymns and some more contemporary songs and a children's area with activities related to the theme of the Sunday at the front of the church. We want children and families to feel they are part of the whole church and not tucked away in a corner.
The Vicar is a wheelchair user (so we are wheelchair accessible!) however we recognise that not everyone's disability is visible or the same. We therefore aim to accommodate people with whatever needs they may have and if we are not meeting those needs - do please tell us. There are two 'disabled' parking spaces right outside the church.
We finish 'church' with home made cake and tea / coffee so we can get to know each other better. We want to build 'family' so no matter what age everyone feels welcome and valued for who they are.
