Prayers of Love and Faith

St Peter's offers Prayers of Love and Faith (PLF) to same-sex couples who are in a covenanted relationship.  The Church of England does not permit the marriage of same-sex couples.

The PLF make provision or stable, faithful relationships between same-sex couples and for giving thanks for their faithfulness and the fruitfulness in service to God and neighbour.  In that sense they recognize the couple's commitments to one-another.  They ask for God's grace in the holy ordering of companionship and godly love as they follow Christ and seek to grow in holiness.

PLF may only be used within a regular act of worship within the parish church - stand-alone services are not permitted.
