"On Monday 31st March at 2.00pm the PCC of St Michael & All Angels discussed the proposal given by Revd. George to move forward with Phase 1 and 2 of the reordering of the internal Pews.

Phase 1 will be the removal of the rear choir pews in the chancel, only the rear ones. This work is now complete.

Phase 2 will be removal and recycling of the pews in the North Aisle so as to build much needed storage and add a little more aisle space. All potential works carried out will still need to be proposed to, and be under the guidance of the Diocesan Advisory Committee for the Diocese Of Chester".
