All events Calendar Lent & Easter

We are moving into the period of Lent leading up to the joy of Easter - come listen to our bells ring out for Sunday services. On Palm Sunday our 10 am service will be prefaced by a short walk through Grappenhall Village in Grappenhall Conservation Area. Our Choir will lead the singing. Everyone is welcome to join the walk to Church, bring some greenery to wave if you wish. In church, don't worry about hymnbooks - all the words will be easy to read on screen. Bring all the family! On Thursday 2nd April, Maundy Thursday, there will be a sung Eucharist with stripping of the altar starting at 7pm . On Good Friday the Bridewater Churches meet together for an eucumenical service followed by reflections from the cross starting at 2pm. There will be an Easter egg hunt in church grounds starting at 2pm on Saturday 4th April. Easter Sunday, 5th April, there will be the Easter Eucharist service at 10am. All the family are very welcome. We will have refreshments after the service on Sundays

A quiet, reflective, evening service of Holy Communion held once a month on the same Sunday as Family Praise (see our website to view the calendar).

Palm Sunday

We mark Palm Sunday by taking a short walk through Grappenhall Conservation Area. Lead by our Choir we sing some traditional hymns, then go into Church for the Palm Sunday service. Everyone is welcome. If the cobbles are a bit tricky for your baby buggy or walking aid, you can join in by waving from the pavement. As usual there will be refreshments in the Annexe after the service and Bells ringing out before the procession.

Term time only!
Join us in church on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month for a friendly, child-centred service followed by playtime, crafts and refreshments. All children from 0-4 welcome with parents, grandparents or carers.

A monthly service to which residents from our local care homes are invited, but to which all are welcome. A short service of Holy Communion followed by soup, bread, cakes and drinks in our beautiful Church Annexe.
