We are currently in Ordinary Time – the season in the Church's year when we reflect on the life and teachings of Jesus and consider what it means to follow him in our everyday lives. Although the name might suggest that nothing special is happening, Ordinary Time is anything but ordinary. It is a season of growth, discipleship and discovering how God's love shapes our daily lives. Week by week, we hear the stories of Jesus, learn from Scripture, pray together and seek to put our faith into action in our homes, workplaces and communities. Whether you are exploring faith for the first time, returning to church after many years, or have worshipped all your life, you are warmly welcome at St Wilfrid's. We would love to meet you and invite you to join us as we continue this journey together.

Join us in church on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month for a friendly, child-centred service followed by playtime, crafts and refreshments. All children from 0-4 welcome with parents, grandparents or carers.

1st and 3rd Wednesday in the month at 2.00pm (TERM TIME ONLY)!

St Wilfrid's Treasure Hunt and BBQ

Please join us for our Treasure Hunt Fundraiser on Saturday 8th August. Teams wanting to enter the Treasure Hunt must buy a ticket, however the BBQ is free to attend and food can be purchased here. We will also have a licensed bar available.

The Treasure Hunt will begin at the Parish Centre and take you through Grappenhall, Grappenhall Heys, and back to the church, before returning you to the Parish Centre where you will submit your answers and enter the draw to win one of our amazing prizes.

Tickets to enter the Treasure Hunt are £5 per adult, £2.50 for 5-16 year olds, and free for under 5s. There will also be fun prizes available for Best Team Name, Best Fancy Dress and Best Young Detective.

A monthly service to which residents from our local care homes are invited, but to which all are welcome. A short service of Holy Communion followed by soup, bread, cakes and drinks in our beautiful Church Annexe.
