From Rob, "I will be moving on to lead another church so our last Sunday as a family here will be October 11th
We are so going to miss St Wilfrid’s church family, and the local community so much. We will have been here for 12 years. You are a BIG part of our life
Our current service times are a 9:30am Classic Service and an 11:00am Informal Service - modern in style and which is particularly suitable for families and younger people.
To make things easier to run for when the church goes into Vacancy (a time looking to appoint the next Rector), from September 20th while I’m still in post here the two services are going to be amalgamated into one 10am ‘all age’ Service. This means it will be a blend of both the formal 9:30am style and the modern 11am style. It is for all ages- and there will be activity for younger people to go to within the Service.
We always want to be a life transforming, welcoming church because we believe in the Living God of love who is Father, Son and Holy Spirit who calls us all to know and enjoy His love.
Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him. (Psalm 36:8)
