Welcome to St John's Church. We are part of the Church of England, serving the villages of Sandiway and Cuddington.
We are a friendly church community and strive to offer a warm welcome to everyone. Our church buildings are fully open again, but we encourage visitors to our services to wear masks and sanitise their hands on arrival. Please also wrap up warm, as we are keeping the buildings well ventilated. If you're not able to attend in person there will be a pre-recorded reflection available each Wednesday during Advent that you can watch on via our Facebook Page (@stjohnsandiway), our website (stjohnsandiway.org.uk) and Youtube (St John's Sandiway stay connected). There will also be special online services for Christmas - see our website for more details.
The parish of St John the Evangelist Sandiway is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Chester’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services."
