You would be very welcome to join us at St Mary's Parish Church in Upton at 10.30am for in-person worship at our Sunday morning service. There is no need to book in advance and you are very welcome to join us. At present our services are also live streamed through our website and YouTube channel.

Each week (apart from the first in the month) we have children's groups running with age appropriate activities, engaging Bible teaching, and games.

Seed & Grow for ages 0-3
JAM (Jesus And Me) for KS1 (ages 4-7)
Explorers for KS2 (ages 8-11)
Pathfinders for those in school years 7-9
On a Sunday evening at 7.30pm CYFA runs as our group for teenagers in school years 10-13.

Most weeks at 10.30am we gather together as one church across the ages for worship, before children and young people go to their groups, returning later in the service with an opportunity to feedback.

The first Sunday of the month at the 10.30am service is an all age service, with children and adults engaged in worshipping God together throughout.

The fourth Sunday of the month at the 10.30am service will incorporate Holy Communion as part of the service.

Refreshments are served after the service.

The Church Family News Sheet is emailed out and posted to our website weekly on Friday's.

Some printed copies are also available for collection on a Sunday and during the week.

Safeguarding

Our parish of Upton (or Overchurch): St Mary is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO).

Our Diocese of Chester’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO: [email protected] or on 0151 677 1186. You can also contact the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor, [email protected] or on 01928 718834 (option 4).

If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services.
