As far as we know, this was the first ordination to take place in St Bridget's Church - in recent years ordinations have taken place in the cathedral. It was a splendid and happy occasion. As well as Bishop Julie, those who took part included the Archdeacon of Chester, the Dean of Chester, and the Diocesan Director of Ministry.
