All Saints', Thornton Hough

Thornton Hough is a village in the heart of Wirral, Merseyside (UK) and All Saints' has been providing a continuous Christian witness in the village since 1868.

The church is open each day for private prayer, reflection and meditation.

We are always happy to welcome new people or visitors.

In these "Covid times", those attending our church for either private prayer or public worship are asked to follow social distancing protocol and wear face coverings (unless medically exempt from doing so).  Seating and other arrangements have been adjusted to make the church "Covid-19 safe" (and appropriate risk assessments have been carried out).

Please visit our website which has up to date information about services, events, your special occasions, and more.

All Saints' Thornton Hough takes its duty and obligation to protect everyone extremely seriously.   We have adopted the national Church of England’s robust procedure and guideline and details may be found here.

This service of worship is open to people of all ages. The service is a service of Common Worship Holy Communion on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month and Morning Prayer on the other Sundays.

Normally our singing is led by the choir with organ accompaniment but at present, because of the regulations around the Covid-19 pandemic there can be no singing at our services. At present our children's group is not meeting and we are not serving refreshments after the service.
