Pentecost Baptisms

Occuring
for 1 hour
Venue
St George
Address
Church Road Altrincham, WA14 4TT, United Kingdom

A number of children, who for whatever reason, were not Christened as babies are enquiring about Christenings/ Baptisms (it’s the same thing – just two different words – we tend to use ‘Christening’ for babies, and baptism for everyone else!). Some of them are in KS1 or 2 and would like to get baptised alongside other people.

So, if you, or your children, fit into that category and would like to get baptised, then we are planning on doing this on Pentecost, Sunday 19th May at 9.30am. It will be a wonderful celebration, and being that the church can seat over 600, you are still welcome to invite as many guests as you wish!

Please let Rev. Claire know that you are interested – either at the front school gate if you are at Altrincham Primary School or by clikcing on the link below.

St George

The parish of Altrincham: St George is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Chester’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services."
