Central to worship in our church is the celebration of the Holy Eucharist, also called the Holy Communion, or the Lord's Supper. In this offering of prayer and praise, the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ are remembered and celebrated.
Children are particularly welcome at this service.

All the churches of the Rural Daneside Group are invited to a joint service of Advent songs of praise.

The Christmas Fair will be held at the Swettenham Club on Sunday November 30th from 12 noon to 2pm, in aid of St Peter's Church, Swettenham.
With hot turkey baps and homemade soup, and the bar will be open. Stalls will include a tombola, RSPB, WI and bric a brac. Free entry.

Celebrate the light of Christmas with our family-friendly Christingle service - a beautiful tradition filled with candle-light, carols, and community.
Together we'll reflect on hope, love and generosity as we support the work of The Children's Society.

Come and join us for a fun, outdoor telling of the Christmas story. Gather from 4pm for a 4:40pm start.
We will have a few readings and scenes in a number of locations around the church and in the barn along with singing carols as well.
It will be cold, so wrap up. Wellies are optional but the ground is usually damp underfoot.
We also have mulled wine and mince pies afterwards as well.

Our carol service is a warming and moving service with traditional and popular carols and hymns that tell the story of Christmas. It is a glorious and joyful way for us to celebrate the birth of Christ.
We hope to welcome as many people as possible, including the congregation of St Michael's Church, Hulme Walfield.

This late-night service starts on Christmas Eve and ends just after midnight, so you’re among the first to celebrate Christmas! ‘Mass’ is simply another name of ‘Holy Communion’ or ‘Eucharist’ or ‘Lord’s Supper’ and it is when the congregation shares bread and ‘wine’.
This will be a joyous service for all the Rural Daneside Churches and it will be held at Marton Church. Everyone is very welcome to join us.

A gathering for all our villages on Christmas morn. A short, relaxed and fun celebration of the day!
A short communion service will follow for those who wish to stay.

This is the day when we remember those innocent children who were slaughtered by Herod when he learned from the magi that a new king had been born.
We will be celebrating a baptism today, welcoming a new person into the family of the church.
