On Easter Eve, we gather in a darkened church to hear passages from the Bible reminding us of God's wonderful plan for the salvation of the world.Then we go out into the churchyard as the sun sets, and light the Paschal Candle from a fire-pit. Coming back into the church we light our own candles from the Paschal Candle as the Exultet is sung. Do join us for this beautiful, solemn yet joyful celebration of the first light of the Resurrection.

St Peter’s Great Haseley

Welcome to St Peter’s! We are a small but friendly congregation, worshipping in a splendid Grade I listed building that dates from 1200. We have a kitchen, a fully accessible toilet with baby-changing facilities, and a carpeted children’s area. The church is open every day during daylight hours, and dogs are always welcome!

We have installed a state-of-the art Info Point digital audioguide, which works on your mobile phone or iPad. Listen to the bells, find out about the history and architecture, and enjoy some puzzles and prayers!
